About the Solution

The SWITIEK 8 cavities elbow brass in mold insertion solution is an automation system designed for the auto-production of the elbow pipe fittings which request the auto-inserting of the brass and runner cutting. This solution is suitable for the production of PVC/PPR elbow pipe fittings with diameter around φ25mm. And is suitable for the brass in mold insertion of pipe fittings of other type connectors such as T/Y/Direct etc. with some alternative design of system structure according to the mold design.

Unilike the other injection molding automation systems which can adopt a module design, the pipe fittings injection automation system with brass inserting is a precise system custom made according to the mold design. Any change in the size of the pipe fittings, the brass or even a slight difference of the brass tolerance will lead to an unstabled performance of the automation system.

1. Robotic Arm EOAT : There're two sets of the end of arm tools, one set for brass inserting, the other for parts picking.
2. Robotic Amr : Three axis servo injection robot, the core unit of the automation system in charge of the brass picking, inserting and parts picking.
3. Vibrator : The sorting of the brass.
4. Brass Lining Unit : Line up the sorted brass for robot picking.
5. Pipe Fittings Runner Cutting Station : Seperate the pipe fittings and runner.
6. Pipe Fittings Runner Cutting Cyliner : The cylinder to cut the runner.
