The SWITEK ultra large PVC pipe fittings hopper collecting solution is a special designed robotic arm end of arm tool designed for the collecting of the ultra large size PVC pipe fittings from the injection molding machine. This design perfectly resolved the trouble of part picking by traditional grippers and suckers.
To ensure that the hopper is strong enough to bear the impact of the dropping pipe fitting, the gross weight of the hopper is more than 50kg and controlled by heavy duty cylinders to ensure a stable collecting of the pipe fitting.
Another feature of this solution is that the robot will collect the pipe fitting from the bottom of the mold, it means that the robot arm will reach the bottom tie bar of the injection molding machine. That's why we chose SWITEK heavy duty 3 axis servo robot SW7725DS as the picking robot.
